Immigrating Youth Texas (IYT) is youth-led, Latina-founded, and community-rooted. We are here to rewrite the future for displaced and marginalized immigrant youth, one filled with dignity, protection, and power. We are loud, we are loving, and we are building a safer world from the ground up.
Your donation directly supports:
- Free, public events like the Justice Run and Día de los Niños Quermés, celebrating culture, amplifying immigrant stories, and creating safe, healing spaces.
- Educational empowerment through grassroots workshops and a digital curriculum focused on youth advocacy, organizing skills, and knowing your rights.
- Emergency mutual aid and on-the-ground support for immigrant children and families impacted by displacement, violence, or neglect.
- Youth stipends & leadership programs we believe young people deserve to be compensated for the emotional labor and courage they give every day.
- A mobile sanctuary space to take IYT into schools, parks, protests, and underserved neighborhoods.
- A permanent headquarters to host healing circles, organizing trainings, art shows, and community-led strategy.
- A quarterly retreat program for immigrant youth focused on leadership, rest, and radical joy.
- Statewide expansion of our digital model to empower more youth-led chapters across Texas and beyond.
